New in Dubai: Corporate Tax from 2023

The UAE Ministry of Finance finally announced on January 31, 2022 that a Corporate Income Tax will come into effect from June 1, 2023.
Two corporate tax rates were announced earlier this year:
- A first rate of 0% if your profits are below AED 375,000 per year;
- A second rate of 9% if your profits are above AED 375,000 per year.
Dividends, capital gains, royalties and interest will remain tax free.
Free-zone companies may benefit from a 0% rate in certain cases.
